Black Friday Updates
Let me start off by apologizing for that incensed post I left regarding the whole art theft thing. [info]leviathan0999 frequently talks sense into me, and expressed that I probably shouldn't make a snap decision when I'm angry, so I'm currently exploring other options so that I don't have to shut down my art site or lock up my LJ art posts. (Granted, if I can't find a way to disable that little right-click "save as" do-hickey, I probably have to shut it down, but only because there isn't another me that I can task with tracking down my artses.)

That said, I'm on it. And I'm sorry I got so mad. Between the DeviantArt thing, and various other issues that probably started when 2008 began, I've been feeling a bit like an open wound, but a good reality check certainly helps put things in perspective.

Anyway, I hope you guys are doing all right. I'm at work on a commish for [info]naiad8, finishing up a piece for [info]lunalovepotter, and working on this year's holiday greeting, so all things considered, I'm fully engaged in teh fun. (Thanksgiving festivities with family, notwithstanding...) I've picked up most of the Christmas gifts for my family, and I'm looking forward to knocking that completely off the to-do list. In other news, I am getting to know my beautiful niece, Anna, as well as enjoying some extra time with my nephew, Michael. Hooray, Aunt-hood!

Finally, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! And to those whose many, many birthdays I've gone and missed, I hope you all have a wonderful year ahead and celebrated it right!

Hehe... well, yeah, I'm not saying I necessarily think I should be all "meh, it's all good" about having my identity stolen on DevArt, but I probably wouldn't have reacted as much if I weren't already maxed out in other ways. Stress = bad things.

But yeah, there's definitely a way to deal with the whole "save-as" issue; I just need to invest a little time in researching it. *hugs back*

I hope the deviant art fiasco has been resolved?

On the disabling the right click "save as" thingy, there is one site I love H/G ofcourse that I can't save her wallpaper. Dunno how she do it (orchids), but currently her site is down. http://harryginny.belovedillusions.net/

I hope you can work out the no right click. I love seeing all your art. I’d hate to think that that would need to stop because someone did something so despicable.

I'm still on a bit of a high from our awesome movie night last week. We have to do that more often then every 1-½ yr.

Oh, you and Anna are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I am seriously craving another baby, and you are not helping!!!

Don't apologize for freaking out over that DA bullshit...I would have done the same thing too! There's got to be a way to cut out the 'right-click' and save thing...maybe talk to a photographer? I know the one's I deal with now have that function turned off when they post the photos on the internet.

Good to have you back, and so excited that you're looking at other options! I love your art so much.

If you can't find a way to get rid of the right click, there is always the possibility of a really strong watermark on pics you put up, but I'm sure you've already thought of that...

My thinking brain isn't working too well today...

I'm Really sorry you had to go through that nerve wreck incident. but it{s great too hear you pulled through it with still some peace of mind left

at same time it{s nice, to a 10 of the degree, that you, for now, decided against deleting Potter on Paper or locking your livejournal account. i{m sure many true admirers of your would have felt bad.

hope everything works out better from now on and that you do not have to go through this again.

Plus, I'm so glad you are considering keeping your art online, I love to see it. I'm sure there is a way to disable the right clicky thingy, as I run into that kind of thing when I try to open separate windows so I don't have to keep clicking back to the main pages in some places. (yeah, I may be lazy, but I'm not thieving.) I'm sure you'll find a way. It was frankly shocking to see that DA page, to be honest. I was nosy enough to click that link. Very blatant and a little creepy.

My all HP fanart started from your pictures.I tried to draw better,using some educational web pages (posturemaniac,for example)and it worked!A bit,but anyway...well,thanks alot and don't apologize.I would done the same.

I may have never commented, or may have many moons ago, but I am completely enthralled by your work. It frequently has me sitting there, drinking in every detail, with my jaw wide open.
