Live from the *Three Broomsticks*!

Finished the OBHWF picture (I hope you like it DeeDee!). It's a little different from the usual romantic fluff, but this was the first thing that popped into my head when I discovered that OBHWF stood for "One Big Happy Weasley Family". I was like, "you mean... like the Partridge Family?"

 

I'm updating the website later today, where you'll find the uber-high-res version (shrinking it always seems to screw with the picture quality).  Fun times :).  Anyway, hope you all enjoy it.

Hi! You don't know me at all, but I clicked on the link from DeeDee's journal and ended up here. And wow! I really like this! Your renderings of the characters are really nice, I just love all the colored pencil work. Yee! I believe I've seen the "big moment" drawing of yours from HBP, but this is the first of your other work I've seen. I also looked at your website and really like your stuff (reminds me a bit of [info]seviet's, in a way), and I thought I'd friend you, if you don't mind. :)

Oh, since I've just been reminded of your art, I was wondering if I could possibly use this drawing in part of the layout for a new Harry/Ginny art community. You would be given full credit and all, of course. :)

Mind?? I feel like I've been visited by a celebrity! I just adore your artwork - I've seen links to it on FAP but I had no idea you were on LJ. I'm so happy you've enjoyed my work - of course you can use the kiss scene, I'd be honored. And let me know when the H/G artwork community is set up because I'd love to join!

Thanks! I couldn't help myself - I just HAD to have Harry and Ginny gazing at each other because I'm a ridiculous romantic and imagine that Harry's singing to her. *sigh* :-D

My favorite part of the drawing is Ron the drummer, enjoying his moment in the spotlight, twirling his drumstick! *cheers* He deserves it.

This is adorable! I love whimsical HP art like this. :)

I've checked out your website, and am absolutely in love with the R/Hr piece in the Lovers Series. It's absolutely gorgeous. Do you have any objections to icons made from your work?

Laughs, too cute and funny. Can I gack Dobby for an icon? He's so adorable. Ginny's hair rocks, and you made Hermione's bushy, yay! If they ever did a band, those would be the instruments that they'd play, definitely. Also much love on all the detail work in the background.

Thanks so much :). I used Prismacolor colored pencils (my absolute FAVORITE) and India Ink. I figured, colored pencils worked back in grade school... why fix it if it ain't broke, right? ;)

I put Ron as a drummer in my series too! Must be because he's such a scrapper in canon...they make great drummers.
